AI SEARCH VISIBILITY — MEASURED

AI answers name three or four businesses. We make sure you're one of them.

Visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews — measured with a fixed prompt set, reported as numbers, not vibes.

We'll run your market's prompts live on the call.

When your customers ask ChatGPT, is your business the answer?

Your customers now ask AI before they ask Google. Generative AI platforms drew 9.5 billion visits a month this past year, up 70% year over year (Similarweb). The shift isn't coming; it's counted. The question that matters is narrower: when someone asks for what you sell, whose names come back?

You're excluded from deals and no dashboard tells you

There is no report that tells you when an AI answer skips you. Most owners find out from a customer who mentions what ChatGPT said. That silence is the problem we solve: a fixed prompt set, run monthly across six engines, that logs exactly who gets named — and who doesn't.

Two ways in — the fast path and the moat

Two kinds of work move AI visibility: answer engine optimization (AEO) on your own pages, and generative engine optimization (GEO) across the wider web.

Where the work happens

Answer engine optimization (AEO)

On your own site: pages, schema, crawler access

Generative engine optimization (GEO)

Across the wider web: mentions, citations, reviews

Time to first movement

Answer engine optimization (AEO)

4–8 weeks

Generative engine optimization (GEO)

3–6 months

What it involves

Answer engine optimization (AEO)

Answer-first page structure, evidence density, machine-readable facts

Generative engine optimization (GEO)

Third-party presence, citable original assets, digital PR, entity consistency

Who controls it

Answer engine optimization (AEO)

You do — every change ships on your domain

Generative engine optimization (GEO)

Earned from others — engines decide what counts

How it compounds

Answer engine optimization (AEO)

Fast to copy: a competitor can match page structure in a week

Generative engine optimization (GEO)

Slow to build, hard to copy: a citation footprint is a moat

What we measure

Answer engine optimization (AEO)

Mention rate and citation share on retrieval surfaces

Generative engine optimization (GEO)

Mention rate and citation share from synthesis, per engine

Three ways to engage, priced in the open

Start with a fixed-scope audit, move to implementation, keep score with monitoring. Every price is published.

audit

Most engagements start here

AI Visibility Audit

Fixed scope, two weeks: exactly where you stand in AI answers, and what to fix first.

$1,500–3,000 one-time

Quoted exactly before we start; moves with prompt-set size and market count.

  • Baseline mention rate and citation share across six engines
  • Every gap diagnosed: crawlers, extraction, schema, off-site footprint
  • A fix roadmap prioritized by expected movement — yours to execute anywhere

Delivered in two weeks from prompt-set sign-off

AI Visibility Audit

implementation

Implementation

The audit roadmap, executed: on-site answer work (AEO) and off-site authority work (GEO).

$5,000–15,000 per project

Scoped from the audit roadmap; on-site, off-site, or both.

  • Key pages restructured into extractable, evidence-dense answers
  • Schema, entity consistency and crawler access shipped and verified
  • Earned third-party presence: reviews, references, digital PR

First movement in 4–8 weeks on-site; 3–6 months off-site

Answer Engine Optimization

monitoring

Monthly visibility monitoring

The measurement spine plus the monthly work it points to.

$2,000–10,000/mo

Scope moves with prompt-set size, engines covered, and how much fixing we execute.

  • Fixed prompt set, run monthly across six engines
  • Mention rate and citation share, per engine, vs named competitors
  • A prioritized fix list, delivered and executed

Reported monthly from the first full cycle

AI Visibility Monitoring

No, and you should walk away from anyone who says yes. Engines change source selection without notice, and only 11% of domains cited by ChatGPT are also cited by Perplexity — nobody controls that. What we guarantee: a defined prompt set, measured monthly, the scoped work delivered, and honest reporting of what moved and what didn't.

How it works

AI engines choose sources two ways: they extract passages that directly answer the question, and they synthesize from sources the wider web treats as authoritative. We work both. On-site, we restructure your pages into extractable answers. Off-site, we build the citations, mentions and evidence that make engines treat you as a source.

THE INSTRUMENT

There is no Search Console for AI answers. We built the next best thing.

We run a fixed set of buyer-intent prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Meta AI, and log mention rate and citation share per engine. Per engine matters: only 11% of domains cited by ChatGPT are also cited by Perplexity (AuthorityTech).

Straight answers

Why not just keep doing SEO?

SEO gets you ranked in a list; AI search names three or four sources and ignores the rest. Ranking #1 on Google does not make ChatGPT mention you. Each engine selects sources with its own logic, and that logic rewards different work: extractable answers, citable evidence, third-party mentions. SEO is still necessary. It is no longer sufficient.

We never suggest dropping SEO. Google AI Overviews build from Googlebot's normal index, so classic crawlability still matters. The work we add — answer-first structure, evidence density, earned mentions — sits on top of a sound SEO base, not instead of it.

How do you measure AI visibility?

We build a fixed set of buyer-intent prompts for your market, run it on a schedule across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Meta AI, and log two numbers per engine: mention rate, how often you're named, and citation share, your share of cited sources versus competitors. You see both trend monthly.

Both metrics are defined in plain language in the glossary, and the monthly report format is shown — with clearly labeled demonstration data — on the how it works page.

How long until I see results?

First movement typically shows in four to eight weeks on retrieval-based surfaces like Perplexity, ChatGPT search and Google AI Overviews, because on-site answer fixes register on the next crawl. Authority-driven visibility, where engines recommend you from synthesis, builds over three to six months. We report both monthly, so you watch the trajectory rather than wait on a promise.

Is this just a fad?

The acronyms are new; the behavior isn't going back. Generative AI platforms drew 9.5 billion visits a month this past year, up 70% year over year (Similarweb), and 68% of Google searches already end without a click (SparkToro). And the underlying work — clear answers, structured facts, third-party evidence — is durable content quality that keeps paying even in classic search.

Can you guarantee my business shows up in ChatGPT?

No, and you should walk away from anyone who says yes. Engines change source selection without notice, and only 11% of domains cited by ChatGPT are also cited by Perplexity — nobody controls that. What we guarantee: a defined prompt set, measured monthly, the scoped work delivered, and honest reporting of what moved and what didn't.

The 11% overlap figure is from AuthorityTech's 2026 per-engine citation audit. It's also why we track six engines separately rather than selling a single blended score.
